Q.10 Is there any advantage to the students of a particular Board for IIT-JEE, AIEEE or Pre-Medical Preparation?
Ans. Not exactly! Initially, students of some particular board may feel some pressure of studies but it dilutes as the time elapses. After almost 1 month of studies, the Board factor completely goes away. However, it may vary from student to student depending on his/her potential and the caliber.
In addition to this, we do not have bias for any specific Board. We are having students of almost all the Boards like CBSE, ICSE and various State Boards and our Teaching Methodologies takes care of all such students. There have been many examples of selected students in IIT-JEE, AIEEE or in AIPMT, who had come from different Boards.
Q.11 What happens to the School Education (XI & XII) if a student studies in Career Point?
Ans. We provide coaching for IIT-JEE, AIEEE/SLEEE, Pre-Medical and NTSE, KVPY & Science Olympiad examinations. However, at the same time schooling is must for class IX, X, XI and XII students. Class IX & X students will be given admission to Global Public School at Kota through national level entrance test. For class XI & XII students, we help the students to get admission in school close to the institute.
For the convenience of new students & parents, school representatives/counsellors of few schools are invited in the institute’s premises on the day of your reporting, so that they can explain to students about their school and procedure for admission. All schools are affiliated with the CBSE and/or Rajasthan Board and are English and/or Hindi medium. Students need not to worry about the timings of the school and coaching as we adjust the timings of the coaching classes according to school timings avoiding any kind of overlapping.
Q.12 Do you provide any Study Material for various competitive examination’s preparation?
Ans. Yes, we provide the separate & complete study material for IIT-JEE, AIEEE & Pre-Medical preparation. For Synchro-School programme students, additional comprehensive materials are provided. Our Study material has been developed by our R & D centre. The study material is most reliable, effective and self-sufficient so that there is no need for any other reference material. Obviously, when our students go through our study material, they utilise every second of their precious time and efforts. It is no surprise to us that in last 9 years, about 70% questions asked in various national level Pre-Engineering & Medical examinations have been from our study material.
To know more about our study material, please click on http://www.careerpointgroup.com/General/Study%20Material.asp
Q.13 What is the importance of Study Material?
Ans. The syllabus of IIT-JEE, AIEEE, AIPMT or Scholarship examinations are very vast. Few chapters are good in one book whereas, certain chapters are expressed well in some other book. Therefore, if you don’t have a single right and complete study material then you have to refer many books and most of your precious time will be wasted this way. For competitive examinations like IIT-JEE, AIEEE, AIPMT or NTSE, where every second counts, you just can’t afford to waste time. That’s why, a good study material is a must for preparation of such competitive examinations otherwise your position is some-what like a soldier fighting the battle with a blunt sword.
Q.14 In which medium do you conduct the coaching?
Ans. We conduct the coaching both in English and Hindi medium. We have separate batches for English and Hindi medium students except in Synchro-School Programme. In the Synchro-School Programme, all courses are conducted only in English medium.
Q.15 Do you conduct a mixed class of Hindi and English medium students?
Ans. No. In fact it is not feasible (and not advisable also) to conduct coaching for English and Hindi medium students in the same class. We conduct separate classes for English and Hindi medium students.
Q.16 I did my 10th/12th class in Hindi medium. In which medium should I take my IIT-JEE/AIEEE/Pre Medical coaching?
Ans. You are preparing for which ever Pre-Engineering or Pre-Medical examination, should prepare in Hindi medium as it is held in Hindi too. Actually, if you opt English as a medium of your preparation, then during the first 2-3 months you will face a lot of problems due to change in the medium which will divert your focus. Instead of learning concepts of Physics, Chemistry and Math/Biology, you will devote most of your time and energy in learning English. And ultimately you may lose selection in these examinations. Therefore it is strongly advised that students from Hindi medium must prepare for Pre-Engineering or Pre-Medical examination in Hindi medium only.
Q.17 But good books are not available in Hindi medium?
Ans. As mentioned earlier, you should not prepare for Pre-Engineering or Pre-Medical examination using different books. Instead of that, you must use the study material.
Q.18 Is Career Point’s study material available in Hindi?
Ans. Yes. Career Point’s study material is offered both in English and Hindi except for Synchro School Programme.
Q.19 What is Career Point’s Teaching Methodology for success?
Ans. We clear all the fundamentals so that students can develop a logical approach at the same time. We give thorough practice to students to solve the complex comprehension based objective problems, which will certainly enable students to qualify in IIT-JEE/AIEEE/Pre-Medical with good ranks.

Q.20 Who are going to teach us?
Ans. We have a team of full time experienced faculty members. Most of them are IITians, NITians and Doctors from reputed universities/colleges of the country. Many of our faculty members are recognized at national level for their expertise and many are recipients of CP’s ‘Excellence in Teaching Award’.
Our faculty team is led by Mr. Pramod Maheshwari (Director, Academic) B.Tech. from IIT Delhi, who is the pioneer of “Kota Coaching System” and internationally renowned for developing the most effective system of teaching the students preparing for competitive examinations.
Our hallmark of excellence rests on our impressive credentials and quality of our faculty team. Career Point faculty team is known for their intellectual in their field and is committed to guide the high aiming aspirants of IIT-JEE/AIEEE/Pre-Medical examinations. The Career Point faculty members are having over a decade of experience to teach pre-engineering & medicine aspirants and they have mastery in their respective subjects. In addition to educational credentials and teaching expertise, our faculty members are trained to impart the coaching as per our unique and most effective teaching methodology, which we have developed over a decade of experience.
Q.21 What will happen if any faculty member is on leave or cannot take classes due to unforeseen circumstances?
Ans. This question arises incase of tuition centers or institutes which are relying only on single faculty member. In the Career Point group, there are more than 400 full time faculty members and all of them are equally competent and well qualified. Therefore, even in some unforeseen circumstances, our students remain unaffected. For us the future of our students is most important.
Q.22 Do you cover the syllabus in time?
Ans. Yes. We have been preparing students for more than 14 years therefore we exactly know what challenges one might face during the course of preparation. Based on our experience, we have developed day wise course curriculum and our faculty members are following that. With such an efficient system, we are able to complete the course well before the examination and in a systematic manner. As a result, our students get sufficient time to revise the syllabus.
Q.23 How do you manage to complete the course?
Ans. As mentioned before, we have day wise course curriculum planning which is uniformly spread over the schedule of the course. Hence we are in position to give appropriate time to each topic as per it’s importance.
It has never happened at Career Point where in the first 3 months of coaching only 2 or 3 topics are being covered and in the last 2 months the remaining syllabus is covered by keeping day and night classes without giving sufficient time to different topics.
Q.24 Do you also keep classes late night or at odd time?
Ans. Never! At Career Point we understand that students must get sufficient time for self-studies, therefore, we never keep classes late night or odd time. In fact, at Career Point, it is not required as we have day wise course curriculum planning.
Actually, this happens with institutes, which are not having sufficient number of competent faculty members or not having experience to cover the course timely. They have no option but to keep classes late night or odd time. This way, they may satisfy the students temporarily but ultimately it affects adversely the growth of the students. Sorry, we cannot do this.
Q.25 Do you conduct Test Series?
Ans. Yes, we conduct pre-scheduled and systematic test series for every course. We declare the test results in time so that, students come to know about their performance timely and they can take appropriate measures to minimise mistakes.
Q.26 Do you analyse the performance of a student?
Ans. Yes, we have a computerised system to analyse the performance of students. For every test, we prepare a mark sheet, which includes subject wise, total marks wise and cumulative marks wise rank of all the tests along with highest marks etc. A computer generated highly scientific test analysis sheet is also given to student.
Q.27 Do you give tips to improve individual performance?
Ans. Yes, after every 3rd minor we conduct a personal counselling session for every student. In this session, our faculty members analyse the performance of each & every student across the table and devise a preparation strategy for better performance of the student. Actually personal counselling session is a part of our curriculum to give individual attention.
Q.28 Do you inform the student’s progress report to parents?
Ans. Yes! After every 5th test, we mail the progress report of every student to his/her parents to acquaint them of the progress of their ward. Even during the session, any time parents can make phone call/email to know the performance of student.
Q.29 Do you give personal attention?
Ans. Yes! We believe in keeping an eye-to-eye contact with our students so that we can monitor individual progress. Our faculty members keep track of every individual and guide him accordingly. Career Point faculty members, being in adequate numbers have nominal work load of taking classes and always remain available to students (even outside the class) so that the students may consult them for their maximum benefit.
Q30. What is Problem Counter?
Ans. For each topic, we conduct regular doubt classes after completion of theory of that topic. Our faculty members clarify doubts of students to the root level to ensure student’s preparation complete in all respect.
To assist students even outside the class and to eliminate their personal doubts which some students do not ask in the routine doubt removal classes due to hesitation or otherwise, we have developed a unique concept of “Problem Counter”.
At Problem Counter, a team of dedicated faculty members regularly remain available as per pre-determined timetable. If an individual student feels that a particular problem/statement/theory is not clear to him /her then he/she may clarify doubts at Problem Counter in one-to-one interaction mode. This way, we give complete personal care to each individual to ensure success.
Q.31 Do you change the batch of a student?
Ans. On the basis of performance of students in our internal test series, we keep changing their batches. This way, we group the students of same caliber in one batch. It creates a homogenous mix of talent & it promotes a competitive environment in the batch.
Q.32 What is XL Batch?
Ans. At Career point, we not only aim at selection of students in IIT-JEE but also target for top ranks. For this, we have created XL batch. Students with excellent performance in our internal test are admitted to XL batch. Due to a highly competitive atmosphere, we are able to explore the potential of the students to full extent and shape them to hit the top rank in IIT-JEE/AIEEE/Pre Medical.
Q.33 What is the role of a structured management of an institute in the selection of a student in IIT-JEE/AIEEE/Pre Medical examination ?
Ans. The management plays a very important role in the selection of a student in the IIT-JEE/AIEEE/Pre Medical examination. At small institutes/tuition centres run by a teacher or a group of teachers, they themselves are the managers. Hence, they do not have any management system and due to this the students do not get the basic educational services properly. Such teachers do make good personal relations with their students and influence their minds in such a manner that their incompetence hides and it goes to the extent that these innocent students do not even complain if the syllabus is not covered fully or test series is not conducted as per the schedule or test results are not declared timely or the study material is not distributed, etc.. This ultimately results in failure of students in the IIT-JEE/AIEEE/Pre Medical examination.
With over a decade of experience, we know that for selection in IIT-JEE/AIEEE/Pre Medical examination, management system of an institute contributes minimum 50%. At Career Point, we understand this fact very well. Therefore, we have developed a structured management system at Career Point to ensure that all the basic services are provided to the students at all stages of his/her preparation. After all students’ selection in IIT-JEE/AIEEE/Pre Medical is our motto.
Q.34 How can we judge an institute to be the best for IIT-JEE/AIEEE/Pre- Medical?
Ans. Success of a student largely depends on following factors, which should be considered before selecting an institute
  • Faculty members: The institute must have highly qualified and experienced faculty members, who should be dedicated and devoted towards the success of students.
  • Study Material: In order to utilise maximum time of the students and save them from referring other books, the institute must provide not only problem sheets but also study material, which should be self sufficient and helpful in the preparation of IIT-JEE/AIEEE/Pre Medical examination.
  • Test Series Frequency: The institute must conduct regular scheduled test series to enhance the performance by developing test-taking skills in them.
  • Competent Management: The management of institute should be professionally competent, always ready to work for the welfare of the students and ensure that the students are well aware of their studies and take the classes seriously.
  • Infrastructure: The infrastructure of an institute should be such that it is always well maintained and the classrooms should give a cozy feel to the students while they are attending the class.
Q.35 What are the advantages of Crash Course?
Ans.
1. Completion of course in systematic and organized manner, which is not possible without expert guidance in such a short interval of time.
2. Familiarization with the examination trend, as competitive examination’s pattern is different from the Board Examination.
3. Quick revision of entire course.
4. Improvement in speed and accuracy and test paper taking skills.
5. Significant jump in your performance and rank.
Q.36 I am planning to prepare for different Pre-Engineering/Medical examination next year by taking a drop of a year then should I opt for Crash Course?
Ans. Certainly yes! You should join crash course even if you are planning to take different competitive examinations next year by taking a drop. There are many advantages, few of them are as under:
  • Crash Course will familiarize you with the requirement of various competitive examinations, hence next year it will enhance your performance and efficiency many folds.
  • Crash course will give you one complete cycle of course coverage, which will prove to be very beneficial at later stages.
  • It is universal truth that experience to do something is much better than not having experience at all.
  • If you prepare seriously then you may get good rank in a Pre-Engineering/Medical examinations and probably what you are thinking today will not be the same after 2-3 months. Crash Course may save one year of your life.
FAQ from IIT-JEE Division
Q.1 What will be your coaching strategy for new revised pattern of IIT-JEE ?
Ans. As per the new pattern of IIT-JEE, there would be comprehension based objective type questions and it would be now a one-stage examination. IIT-JEE have changed pattern of the JEE several times in past, but every time with the help of our R&D team we emerged successful by producing outstanding results in IIT-JEE scaling new heights.
This time again Career Point was the first to incorporate the changes in its coaching programme. Our R&D center has developed efficient study material and teaching methodology as per new pattern to ensure the best preparation for new pattern of the IIT-JEE.
Q.2 Is a student automatically get prepared for AIEEE, if he is preparing for IIT-JEE ?
Ans. No. This is a plane myth that if you prepare for IIT-JEE then you would be automatically prepared for AIEEE because IIT-JEE preparation is completely different from AIEEE preparation.
  • As IIT JEE needs application of fundamentals, whereas AIEEE judges your speed to solve problems.
  • The examination duration types of questions, marking pattern are different in IIT-JEE & AIEEE.
  • For IIT-JEE and AIEEE, you need different types of Study Material, Test Series & Expert Guidance.
  • That’s why Career Point has separate & dedicated divisions for IIT-JEE and AIEEE. Every student should assess his past academic record and do rational self-evaluation. One student should right decision & from the beginning he/she should focus on either on IIT-JEE or AIEEE.
FAQ from Pre-Medical Division
Q.1 What is Career Point’s coaching Methodology for success in AIPMT ?
Ans. AIPMT is a two staged examination. Stage 1 - Screening and Stage 2 - Main. To appear in AIPMT Main, one has to first qualify the Screening Examination but if you devote your full time till screening in only preparing for objective questions, it will be very difficult for you to prepare for AIPMT Main as after Screening is cleared, not much time is available to you to achieve command over subjective questions. However, at the same time you can not afford to ignore AIPMT Screening.
We understand this fact very well. Therefore, we have designed our coaching methodology in such a manner that it strategically combines the preparation of AIPMT Screening and Main examinations. Preparing the students to solve objective type questions with speed and accuracy, we develop the students’ skills for solving the subjective type questions at the same time generating in them a perfect command over the fundamentals. This ensures selection in screening and a very good rank in the mains.
In brief, we clear all the fundamentals so that students develop a logical approach in order to help them qualify the Screening as well as at the same time we give rigorous practice to students to solve the complex subjective problems enabling the students to get good rank in AIPMT Main. To know more about our teaching methodology, please refer “Teaching Methodology” section of institute brochure.
